    Day 1: Phuket Airport to Phuket Hotel

    Phuket's most exciting and stylish contemporary resort, located in a tranquil and exclusive environment, 175 meters from Surin Beach, 25 minutes away from Phuket International Airport, in an area with one of the most beautiful stretches of golden tropical sand in Phuket, often referred to as "millionaires' row". Sample Thai desserts from a popular street vendor, providing a sweet end to an enchanting evening. Following your tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel.

    Day 9: Half Day Wat Doi Suthep and White Hmong Hilltribe

    Today, be met at your hotel by your guide and venture away from the city centre of Chiang Mai for an insightful look at Thailand's rich culture. Start with a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Situated on a mountain rising high above the city, this sacred pagoda offers fabulous views of Chiang Mai and its surroundings. Walk up the stairs to see the exquisite gilded stupa and learn about Thai Buddhist beliefs. Afterwards, continue higher into the hills, traveling by songtaew, a local truck. Drive along rough dirt roads to the Chang Khien Coffee Research Project. Enjoy a fresh cup of locally-grown Arabica coffee and hear about the North's flourishing coffee industry. It's a short drive onwards to a village inhabited by the White Hmong hilltribe. Spend time exploring the village, meeting the inhabitants and learning about the traditions and customs of this unique ethnic group. Following this insightful village visit, return to the songtaew and drive back to Chiang Mai. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of your day tour.

    Day 10: Private Half Day Culinary Lesson in a Thai Teakwood House (VIP Luxury)

    An introduction to authentic Thai cooking is best done by learning how to cook it. This tour begins with a trip to the local market to buy the ingredients and see the unique spices and herbs used by Thai locals. You'll prepare the dish with a professional chef who will share tips on how to recreate the recipe back home. Come back from the trip feeling full and learned about Chiang Mai's food culture. You will be collected by your hotel by your private guide and private luxury vehicle at your scheduled pick up time. Uncover the secrets behind Thailand's famous dishes at the Pantawan Cooking School. Travel south of the city centre to a traditional teakwood house to meet with a local chef. After a short introduction on the day's activities, head out to a nearby fresh market where you'll browse the stalls of this colourful and lively market. See exotic herbs and spices and learn about their uses. During your visit, the chef will introduce you to local vendors and explain about Thailand's food culture. Armed with a basic knowledge of Thai cuisine and its ingredients, return to Pantawan and start cooking! Chop vegetables, stir spicy sauces and fry up sizzling dishes. Throughout the course the chef will share his personal story and offer tips and hints for preparing these dishes at home. When everything is ready, sit down and enjoy the delicious fresh dishes you've made. Savour the delicate flavours of home-cooked Thai cuisine, enjoying the results of the day's activities. You'll be returned to your hotel with a full stomach and a deeper understanding of Chiang Mai's food culture.

    Day 11: Scenic Transfer from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai

    This morning, you'll be met by your private guide and driver for the overland road transfer to Chiang Rai (drop off service also available in the The Golden Triangle or Phu Chaisai regions). You'll enjoy scenic landscapes along the way of surrounding mountains and lush paddy fields. Your driver and guide will be happy to make a couple brief stops on the way should you wish to stretch your legs, purchase any snacks or refreshments or use the facilities. Before reaching Chiang Rai, you will visit Wat Rong Khun. Translated as 'The White Temple', this modern monument was designed by a famous local artist and features unusual Buddhist paintings and sculptures. After exploring the site, continue the drive north, arriving at your destination late this afternoon.

    Perched on a ridge in Northern Thailand overlooking the border with Myanmar and Laos, the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort immerses you in amazing experiences.     Today, explore Bangkok's art and history via its lesser-travelled waterways. Stop by Museum Siam and Wat Pho to learn about the ancient history of Siam and admire the famed and revered reclining Buddha. Hop on a water limousine for a cruise through Bangkok's old klongs while observing traditional riverside life and a hidden artist village - Baan Silapin. This morning you'll be collected from the lobby of your hotel at 10:00am by your private luxury vehicle. You will travel through the old town area of Bangkok and explore the two highlights of the area, the Museum Siam and Wat Pho. At Wat Pho, see the vast collection of religious treasures on display and admire the famed reclining Buddha, which stretches 45-metres in length. Learn about the symbolism of the Buddha's intricate footprint and witness devotees making offerings to this revered image. Continue on for lunch at Err Restaurant. The boat continues through the waterway of Bangkok Noi canal and makes the first stop at the Royal Barge Museum. Carved from teak and intricately decorated with gold leaf and mosaics, the barges are a truly impressive site. Then proceed by boat to Baan Silapin, a 100-year-old house that has been renovated and transformed into an art gallery. The gallery serves as a central gathering point for the community's artisans. There may be time to take a short walk around the community and see the traditional houses that are lined up along the canal.
